Take a walk down to the Spanish Arch & Quay then head on out to the Salt Hill Promenade. It's a great walk along the water with views of the Connemara coast, and can even take a dip off the Blackrock Diving Tower into the Galway Bay.

Take a quick trip out of Galway down to County Clare to see the famous Cliffs of Moher! You'll pass through Kinvara, Caroline's grandfather's hometown, on the way and we suggest stopping at Sexton's Pub or Moran's Oyster Cottage on the way!

Ireland is very special to us, it's not only where both our families are from, but it's the first international trip we ever took together (and have been back four times since)! Our favorite towns/areas include Dingle, Dublin, Wicklow, Lurgan, Belfast, Kinvara, & Killarney.
